A tremendous debut to the podcast by Tom Clutterbuck. Long-time friend and supporter of the show, Tom is a wonderful improviser, a talented compere, and a brilliant stand-up. If I’m honest with you, I think you can tell that Tom also listens to the podcast, because he absolutely nailed it on his first visit to the club – he talked from the heart, with intelligence and passion. It was everything I could have hoped for! And gosh darn it, I’m proud of my set on this episode too. I hope you like it!

In this episode I talk at length about one particular story that made me furious: a company has started bottling arctic sea ice as drinking water, and selling it in Harrods for £80 a bottle. In a world where 663 million people live without clean water, this story made me sick. I hope you enjoy me trying to take the story apart, and working out how to retain faith in humanity!
Meanwhile, Tom’s debut sees him making a great defence of political correctness, and particularly the arguments it can cause between the generations, especially between family. Stick with it to the very end, because he’s got some advice for you that you’re going to want to live your life by!
